In May, we proved once again that when we work together, every initiative can become an experience that leaves a lasting positive impact on the community! As the days grew longer, the Local Groups continued their work with enthusiasm, creativity, and a great deal of dedication.🌼

One of the highlights of the month was SCACD—the Joint Action Week for Children with Disabilities. Throughout the organization, volunteers demonstrated that inclusion, empathy, and solidarity are not just values on paper, but principles that we turn into concrete actions!💙

✨It was also a month of collaboration and growth, during which our projects took shape and the ideas we started in the spring continued to flourish. Every activity, workshop, and meeting helped create a real impact!

We’re heading confidently into early summer, ready for new challenges, experiences, and memorable moments. With the same energy that has carried us through the entire spring, we continue to build together for what we love!☀️💛

May 2nd wasn’t just an ordinary day, it was full of energy, games, and sooo much fun!! 😁

Our volunteers spent a few wonderful hours with 10 children in a cheerful atmosphere at Peștișorul Park, and through dynamic games and interactive activities, the little ones had the chance to express themselves freely and work together. 🧩

We thank the volunteers for their dedication, and also the children, who kept the energy high every single second of the day! 🌈

The Play Day held on May 10th brought smiles to the children’s faces. Even though there were only three children, that didn’t stop us from having fun. We ran, played, laughed, and enjoyed our time together. Every child participated enthusiastically, and this made the activity a success and full of positive energy.

The activity I’d like more people to know about took place during Constanța Days and involved GLT. It was a wonderful workshop featuring games, face painting, and balloons right on the waterfront, near the Constanța Casino. It took place from May 21–23 and was a novel and unique experience for both the children and the volunteers!💛

On May 15th, the night game took place near Lake Ciuperca. There were about 20–25 participants and four stations, each staffed by one or two volunteers. It was full of excitement, and we had to complete many interesting tasks. It was a wonderful experience that gave us the chance to grow closer as a group!

On May 16th, 2026, volunteers from the GLT “Aripi în Europa” Fălticeni enthusiastically organized the Festival of Light, transforming the evening into a moment filled with magic and good cheer. They prepared and lit colorful lanterns, spent time together, and created a warm atmosphere unique to this special event. Through light, smiles, and team spirit, the volunteers conveyed a message of hope, friendship, and the joy of simple things.🤗🌕

The participants radiated wonderful energy throughout the event, fully enjoying every moment spent together and contributing to the success of an unforgettable evening.✨

🤠✨ On May 31st, 2026, as part of the Joint Action Week for Children with Disabilities, we transformed Copou Park into a world inspired by Toy Story!!🚀🧸

Together with children with mild hearing impairments, we spent a day full of games, challenges, and interactive activities, where fun and good cheer were the main characters.🌞🎈 The little ones had the chance to make friends, work as a team, and enjoy every moment spent together!

The children’s laughter, enthusiasm, and energy were felt at every turn, and the atmosphere was one that made us wish the day wouldn’t end too soon!!💙 We were delighted to see so many smiles and to create beautiful memories together, in an activity that brought lots of color and joy to the last day of May🌟

In this edition of the “AGLT Volunteer” section, we would like to congratulate Sofia Lupul, a volunteer from GLT “Corabia Piraților” Tulcea! 🏆✨

I haven’t been part of AGLT for very long. I first heard about this NGO from a friend, and they also organized a play day in my class. When I found out that recruitment was open, I signed up without any hesitation. I can honestly say that it was a great decision!

The people here are amazing, the atmosphere during team-building events is very relaxed, and the play days are extremely well organized and highly appreciated by the children. I also joined several departments so that I could become even more involved in GLT’s activities!

One of my favorite GLT activities was the night game. I had a lot of fun, met new people, and made many friends!
